A new wax figure of the 38-year-old player in Riyadh has generated hilarity and distress on social media.

A state-of-the-art gallery in Saudi Arabia’s capital city of Riyadh has showcased several iconic moments of the Portuguese legend. The Al Nassr star recently visited the newly opened “CR7SignatureMuseum” and shared a video of his visit on social media.

The video that Ronaldo shared on Instagram saw him posing with his wax statue which is complete with his figure donning an Al-Nassr kit. The video also sees the football star participating in several fun activities in the museum.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s visit to his new museum in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh has met with criticism from fans on the internet. Several fans of the footballer have questioned that the details of the wax figure do not resemble the footballer accurately.

Many internet users ended up adding more to the controversy highlighting the difference between the wax figure and the real Ronaldo. Some also claimed that the statue looks like Lionel Messi.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has been honoured with several wax statues across the world. The Al Nassr player has been in incredible form lately and has been ruling the ongoing AFC Champions League in Saudi Arabia.
