Our publication has a long history. Published in August 1945 for the first time, the Volksstimme was an Austrian daily newspaper until the 1990s, then a weekly newspaper, but finally discontinued. But a lot has happened. In 2009, the restart took place with the claim to be a broad, left monthly magazine, and since then the popular vote appears ten times a year with (in many ways) versatile contents on politics and culture, nationally and internationally. Each issue contains 56 bulging pages with reports, reports, interviews and comments by progressive authors from all over Austria and beyond.
