La Ruche is the weekly newspaper of the Brioude region. Present first in Brioude and Langeac, reporting the various facts and information of the various towns, this media has extended to the regions of Massiac (Cantal), the mining basin of Brassac-les-Mines (Puy-de-Dôme, bordering) and Issoire (Puy-de-Dôme). In 2007 La Ruche was shot at around 11,000 copies, of which 10,000 sold in the region.
